Characters:

• James Wheelobie: Once upon a time there was an explorer named James the Wheelobie. He was fast, smart and very handy with cars. He got his nickname, Wheelobie, because of his experience with cars and how he could ride the cars through any obstacle and any weather safely and beautifully.

   

• Brapstein: Was a 60-year-old geologist. He was wise and experienced but very slow. He had recently won a noble prize for his translation of ancient handwritten books.

• Brapstein’s only trustee was Wheelobie. They knew each other from years ago when Dr. Brapstein got in Wheelobie’s car during an Uber Ride.

Storyline:

SCENE 1

Sahara Desert, Egypt, Afternoon

After finding their way to the Tomb, Doc and Wheelobie stop to admire their massive find. As they’re focused on the tomb, they hear an angry voice behind them

WILLIAM SEAFORTH

Hey! [angrily]

Wheelobie and Doc turn around to find William Seaforth the third with an angry look on his face.

WILLIAM SEAFORTH

Now what do you two think you’re doing at my discovery? [Snobbishly]

JAMES WHEELOBIE

Oh! Your treasure? I don’t see your name on it. This treasure should be in the hands of someone who can actually do good with it. Knowing you, you just want to get famous for it.

WILLIAM SEAFORTH

Whatever I do with MY treasure has nothing to do with you. So, if you’ll excuse me I will be going to get it now.

Dr. BRAPSTEIN

Not if we get there first!

Wheelobie and Doc start sprinting to their car. Seaforth immediately runs for his car too. They are close to the tomb but driving will be the fastest there

WILLIAM SEAFORTH

Get in! Get in! [speaking to his men]

Now Wheelobie and Doc are racing to the Tomb against Seaforth and his men

Dr. BRAPSTEIN

Come on James! Hit it!

Wheelobie and Seaforth are driving very fast down the hill and nearly hit each other as they merge onto the same path in front of the Tomb. Wheelobie and Doc get to the tomb first but they still have to find the treasure inside.

JAMES WHEELOBIE

Come on Doc! We are ahead! Let’s keep it that way!

Wheelobie and Doc enter the tomb as Seaforth stops his car at the entrance. They are behind but not by much. Wheelobie and Doc begin their search for the scrolls and treasure through the countless old sandy rooms.

JAMES WHEELOBIE

Where could they be Doc? [Panicked]

Dr. BRAPSTEIN

They should be with the emperor near the sarcophagus! [Rushed]

They run to the center of the Tomb and find the sarcophagus. They see a side compartment on the ancient coffin. Wheelobie opens it

Dr. BRAPSTEIN

I can’t believe it! There they are!

WILLIAM SEAFORTH

Wait! Don’t you move!

While Wheelobie and Doc were looking for the scrolls and treasure. Seaforth’s men snuck up behind them and jumped on them. On the way down to the ground, Wheelobie grabbed the scrolls but the men aren’t letting Doc and James go anywhere.
